Story to come
- Who’s riding
- Name, as the family agrees
- What they wanted
- In the family’s own words
- What we adjusted
- The bike, and how we set it up
- Riding now
- Where and how they ride
Whether the bike is for you, your child, or someone you support, the first step is a conversation. No rush, no jargon, and nothing decided until you’re ready.
The plain answer
We have 8 to 10 core adaptive bikes, including trikes for children and trikes for adults. None of them is handed over as it came to us. Each one is adjusted to the person who will ride it, so by the time it’s ready it is, near enough, made for them.
If you’re not sure riding is possible, that’s a good reason to talk to us, not a reason to wait.
We talk with:
How it works
Tell us about the rider: what they’d like to do, and anything that makes riding tricky. By email or in the shop. Nothing is decided at this stage.
We look at the right bike together, then adjust it to the rider. The bike fits the person, not the other way round.
Then the rider rides. That’s the whole point.
The bikes
Between 8 and 10 core bikes. What matters most is what happens at the fitting, when we set one up for the person riding it.

Rider stories
Families have written to us about what riding has meant to them. We’ll share their stories here, but only with written consent, and only in the way each family chooses.

For therapists, OTs and schools
We work with therapists, occupational therapists and schools, as well as the families themselves. Get in touch the same way anyone else would, and you’re welcome to be part of the conversation from the start.
We’ll keep it in plain terms and work to what the rider needs.
Help with funding
We work with families, charities, schools, and health or social work budgets, case by case, to find a funding route.
Every situation is different, so the best first step is to tell us yours. We’ll talk it through with you.
Talk to us
Tell us as much or as little as you like. There are no wrong answers, and you don’t need to know what kind of bike you’re after.
