Serious wine from a place nobody expected it. We are a family vineyard at almost 7,000 feet, near Cloudcroft, and we have been growing wine on this mountain since 1982.

Three grapes and one sparkling wine, grown high in the Sacramento Mountains. Lucia, Eduardo's younger daughter, runs the vineyard and the cellar now, and she makes every bottle.

Eduardo planted the first vines in 1982, on land his father bought in the 1970s. Back then people told him New Mexico couldn't make serious wine. He planted anyway. He's handing the day-to-day to his daughters now, but this is still very much his vineyard, and you'll hear from him often.
Eduardo plantó las primeras vides en 1982, en la tierra que su padre compró en los años setenta. En aquel entonces le decían que en Nuevo México no se podía hacer vino serio. Plantó de todos modos. Hoy deja el día a día en manos de sus hijas, pero este sigue siendo su viñedo, y lo vas a seguir escuchando.
